Pain of the Soul

___Pain of the Soul________

Trapped inside my flesh bound cell
No room to spread my wings
Left to my imagination,
Dreaming of pleasant things.
To engage of all these senses,
reminders of the pain.
I now question my existence.
Have I lost my way?
Tell me what is right and what is wrong if I begin to sway
Why does it hurt so much to exist in such a way.
Just like all of you I’m trapped here
Do you truly not see?
What is that to be my key
To unlock this cell
To set my bound wings free.

I thought I'd do a poem with this since I haven't done much creative writing for a while. This isn't the finished picture of the wings up there. my 600dpi tif file is still being cleaned up into line art. I just felt this looked cool for what it is.
